Meet Bradley Payne
The story
Hi, I'm Bradley Payne — software engineer by day, maker by night (and often, early morning). I started 3D printing about three years ago, drawn in by the perfect intersection of problem-solving, precision, and creating something tangible.
What began as a hobby quickly turned into something more. I realized that 3D printing wasn't just about making cool stuff — it was about solving real problems. Whether it's a custom mount for hunting gear, a replacement part that's no longer manufactured, or a functional prototype for someone's project, every print tells a story.
As a software engineer, I'm used to building things that live in the digital world. Running Payne 3D Prints gives me the chance to create things you can hold in your hand — things that make your life easier, your projects better, and your gear work the way it should.
When I'm not printing
Family comes first. My wife and I have been married for 7 years, and we have two amazing kids — a 4 year old and a 1 year old who keep us on our toes. Between diaper changes and bedtime stories, I'm either coding, printing, or getting outside.
I love the outdoors — hunting and fishing are my go-to escapes. There's something about being out in nature that clears the mind and sparks creativity. Plus, it's where a lot of my print ideas come from. Need a custom rod holder? A mount for trail cameras? A gear organizer that actually fits your pack? I've probably needed it too.
I've also gotten into pickleball recently. It's competitive, social, and a great way to stay active. Whether it's on the court, in the woods, or at my printer, I'm always tinkering with something.
